Our Volunteers - Carol Bachofer

Ciana Mead Hi my name is Carol Bachofer (pictured third from left). I am a teacher and first got involved in the project by volunteering at the Hot Dog Fund raiser. We lives on a farm west of Salina, Kansas and raise Boer meat goats and Akbash Anatolian livestock guardian dogs along with brone hay and a little wheat.

I had a brother and four cousins that served in the Armed Services during the Vietnam Era and have a passion to "Support Our Troops!"

I have plans to involve my students in the "blanket" project by sewing light weight blankets for the troops overseas and small blankets for the Veteran Hospitals in Kansas.
